Catherine is an inspirational educational leader with over 24 years of experience, dedicated to creating and cultivating positive learning cultures that empower communities to thrive both academically and socio-emotionally. With an open, empathic, and relational approach, Catherine's leadership has driven successful outcomes across diverse coeducational contexts, including work with Indigenous students, trauma-informed frameworks, the Early Years Learning Framework, the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), and restorative practices.

Catherine is passionate about invigorating school cultures to effect change for the common good. Her enthusiasm and energy are underpinned by a resolute focus on delivering authentic, positive educational experiences and environments for all young people. She prides herself on utilizing an adaptive, strengths-based approach to motivate and empower others to flourish and emphasizes the importance of collaborative, inclusive, and ethical decision-making processes.

As an accomplished public speaker and communicator, Catherine excels at delivering high-quality professional learning workshops in her areas of expertise, including evidence-based pedagogy related to trauma-informed practice, pastoral care, engagement strategies for junior students (particularly those at risk), and positive education. Her extensive coaching and mentoring experience enables her to involve others in vision-building and the development and achievement of strategic agendas. Catherine has a proven track record of engaging key stakeholders to work in partnership to support and uplift young people.
