I have had the most amazing few months as I have journeyed through moments of both despair but also joy. I absolutely love that in those moments where you feel like there is no hope, joy springs out of nowhere. I was listening to an amazing podcast today which spoke about our thoughts and the way in which they can either make or break us. But also, how our thoughts determines both how we feel, but also how our brain wires AND how our body feels.
Central to this is the amazing way in which we can re-tune our brains to neutral and to re-start new patterns of thinking by reconnecting to our bodies through meditation.
This is something that I have known to be true in knowing that prayer and meditation have been pivotal in my life thus far. But it is in those moments of uncertainty in which we do need to stop. Allow ourselves to take time to stop and really think about whats important for us and what we need to continue to move forward.
JOY is something that I saw in Bali. Everyone had it on their faces and I was taken aback. Living in a country where most wouldn't be able to leave due to the cost, but seeing smiling faces each day. Being greeted each morning by someone with joy.
So take the time to breathe. Move through those moments where you feel like hope is lost. Its not. Hope is never lost. It just may look different to what you expected and thats ok.
