These holidays have seen somewhat of an opportunity to reset. Heading to the middle of Australia and allowing the awesomeness of nature, just to allow a slow down and the opportunity just to stop. To see the sunset at Uluru was awe-inspiring, magical. To hike into the ravines of Kata Tjura. To have the opportunity to walk around this massive rock and its age-old history of tradition that soaks deep into our culture. The stories, the drawings, the smells, the silence.
To breathe the air.
To take time to think about the history.
To realise that all you concern yourself with daily really means nothing.
The fast-paced life that leads where?
To invade your senses with the sound of the wind, and the beautiful birds sweeping over your head.
To take in the vastness.
To forget all the worries of the fast-paced life.
To live simply.
To not be anxious or worry.
